Welcome to the Book of John chapter 1 verse 29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

The cross of Calvary reveals the love of God towards humanity. It is His love that draws us to Himself.

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all unto me. John 12:32.

If we do not resist this drawing, we will be led to the foot of the cross in repentance for the sins that have crucified the Saviour.

Then the Spirit of God through faith produces a new life in the soul. The thoughts and desires are brought into obedience to the will of Christ.

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men;

He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Philippians 2:5-8.

The heart and mind are created anew in the image of Him who works in us to subdue all things to Himself.

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you; Ezekiel 36:26

Then the Law of God is written in the mind and heart, and we can say with Christ:

I delight to do Thy will, O my God. Psalm 40:8.

O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Psalm 119:97.

2 Corinthians 3:18

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Revelation 13:8

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
